TERMS OF SERVICE

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using PacksMC ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. ELIGIBILITY

You must be at least 13 years old to use PacksMC. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent to use the Platform. By using our services, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. USER ACCOUNTS

To access certain features, you must create an account by verifying your Minecraft account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your account
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
  • Ensuring your account information is accurate

4. USER CONTENT

When you upload texture packs or other content to PacksMC, you:

  • Retain ownership of your original content
  • Grant PacksMC a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute your content
  • Represent that you have the right to share such content
  • Agree not to upload content that infringes on others' intellectual property

5. PROHIBITED CONDUCT

You agree not to:

  • Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Impersonate others or create fake accounts
  • Upload stolen or plagiarized texture packs
  • Attempt to bypass security measures or exploit the Platform
  • Use the Platform for illegal activities
  • Spam, advertise without permission, or engage in deceptive practices
  • Upload NSFW, offensive, or inappropriate content

6. PACKS+ AND COMMUNITIES+ SUBSCRIPTIONS

Paid subscriptions are subject to the following:

  • Subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis until cancelled
  • You may cancel at any time through your account settings
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis
  • We reserve the right to modify pricing with advance notice
  • Benefits may change over time as we improve the Platform

7. COMMUNITY GUIDELINES

Communities on PacksMC must follow our guidelines. Community owners and admins are responsible for moderating their communities. We reserve the right to remove communities that violate our terms or fail to maintain appropriate standards.

8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

PacksMC and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by PacksMC and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. "Minecraft" is a trademark of Mojang Studios. PacksMC is not affiliated with Mojang or Microsoft.

9. TERMINATION

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will cease immediately.

10. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. Your use of the Platform is at your own risk.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

PacksMC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Platform.
